A former basketball coach of Southern California was sentenced to 150 years in prison on Wednesday

 in connection with the alleged sexual assaults of four young ladies he mentored over ten years ago.

A statement from Todd Spitzer's office states that 48-year-old Carlos Francisco Juarez was convicted of 10 felonies in July

for assaults that happened between 2005 and 2010. The girls ranged in age from 11 to 17 when the incidents took place.

Spitzer claims that the coach "abused his position of trust and dominance over these young girls."
