On Monday K-pop band's label and management company, Big Hit, announced that service of the South Korean military going to be started by all the members of K-pop band BTS

According to Big Hits, after the completion of their service, around 2025 they have decided to come back together.

The 29-year-old, Kim Seok-jin, the BTS members' oldest performer will enter the military after his solo project is rolled out this month. He is the first member to enter the military.

By age 28, all men should serve in the armed forces for at least 18 months according to South Korea's conscription system.

For certain performing artists and athletes there are some exemptions available for those who are working in traditional and classical music.

Because of the recognition of BTS's efforts in "enhancing Korea's international image" the government offered Jin a 2-year delay in entering the army when he turned 28 in 2020.

Among K-pop stars he was one of the first members to be offered such a reprieve.
