Eagles talented rookie nose tackle Jordan Davis suffered a nagging injury in the second quarter against the Steelers and was eventually carted off.

The Eagles pulled him out in the third quarter with a knee injury.

After going down late in the second quarter, Davis was slow to get back on his feet and needed the help of a pair of trainers to limp off the field in a blue medical tent.

Davis was on the field for a while and head coach Nick Sirianni also went to the field to check on him.

When Davis left the medical tent, he was not putting weight on his right leg. Davis was then carted in.

Davis, 22, is off to a very promising start to his NFL career and has been a difference-maker in the middle of the Eagles' defense. He is a player they cannot beat.

The Eagles' other interior defensive linemen are Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, Milton Williams, and Marlon Tuipulotu. Marvin Wilson is also on the practice squad.
