Robbie Coltrane, actor of the beloved Hagrid within the Harry Potter movies, dies at 72

Venerable Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane, greatest referred to as the dragon-loving half-giant Hagrid from the "Harry Potter" movie franchise, died on Friday, his managers mentioned.

His passing was confirmed by a representative of the actor's company, William William Morris Endeavor.
