Wayne Brady has acknowledged that he is a pansexual in an effort to be more open and honest about his sexuality.

Regardless of gender identification, a pansexual is defined by GLAAD as "a person who has the capacity to form strong physical, romantic, and/or emotional attractions to any individual."

Brady and Diana Lasso were married from 1993 to 1995. His 20-year-old daughter Maile Brady is the product of his 1999–2008 marriage to Mandie Taketa, his ex-wife.
