Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf got the NBA All-Star Weekend off to a thrilling start with a high-flying performance at the Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game.
Metcalf finished the game with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks, helping the team, captained by Dwyane Wade, three-time NBA champion and Utah Jazz minority owner, win 81–78. Metcalf’s double-double performance earned him the game’s MVP award.
He showed his hops early and often with a flurry of dunks.

On defense, Metcalf’s bounce was equally impressive, sending shots back with regularity.

Metcalf’s teammate, Tyler Lockett, and his squad liked what they were seeing from their pass-catcher.
However, there was some drama toward the end of the game. Ryan’s team, captained by Governor of the Jazz Ryan Smith, trailed by three with little time left in regulation. As time expired, WWE wrestler The Miz scored what was believed to be the game-winning 4-point shot. Luckily for Metcalf and Team Dwayne, it didn’t count after further review.
Wade and Lockett congratulate Metcalf on his new hardware.
