Jessica Simpson has added her name to the increasing list of famous people who have left Hollywood for a quieter life in Nashville, Tennessee.
The “Public Affair” singer admitted that she has rented a vacation home in the South, where her family is considerably happy, even though she is not entirely leaving the West Coast.
Even my children tell me that I laugh nonstop now that I live in Nashville. You must be very delighted,'” she told E! News.
“I’m not alert, therefore that’s why. I’m among a lot of folks who share my interests. It’s not about the famous people. The talk and the music are actually what matter.
The Volunteer State, where Simpson, 43, now resides, has motivated her to concentrate on her singing, she continued.
In relation to her musical comeback, she added, “I’ve been preparing this for the last 12 years.”
If you asked me two years ago while I was talking about returning to music, I would say that I was terrified, but now I’m not at all anxious. But now I’m certain of my goals.
“I’m developing a platform on my own. Without being told by a label that I must perform this song or employ this producer, I’m doing it for the first time in the manner that I would. Everything is me.
Simpson is currently concentrating on her family and music, but recently, the pop star-turned-fashion designer has been “scrutinized” for her weight.
The “Irresistible” singer said her kids are baffled by the public’s fascination with her weight, despite her having spoken about gaining and losing 100 pounds on three consecutive occasions.
“My kids see me being examined still, and they find it extremely perplexing. They say, “I don’t even understand this,” for this reason. Why not just say, “You look pretty, mum,” like they should?” You appear attractive.
“And I said, ‘Honey, like, I really don’t’ – In an interview with Access Hollywood, Simpson commented on the ongoing criticism, saying, “I wish I were able to clarify it, I wish I could say for me, that it has gotten better, but it stays the same, and I don’t know why.”
With her ex-NFL player husband Eric Johnson, Simpson has three kids: Maxwell Drew, 11, Ace Knute, 10, and Birdie Mae, 4.
