Travis Barker’s decision to prioritize his family over his music band Blink-182’s tour schedule.

On Friday, the band posted on their verified Instagram Story that their drummer Barker “has had to return home to the States due to an urgent family matter.”

Their scheduled performances in Glasgow, Scotland; Belfast, Northern Ireland; and Dublin, Ireland “are being postponed,” the note stated. The performances were planned to kick off this month as a part of Blink-182’s “World Tour 2023/2024,” which began in April.

At this time, a return to the tour is planned for September 8 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Regarding the nature of the family matter, no more details were provided.

A spokesperson for Barker and Blink-182 has been contacted by CNN for comment.

Kourtney Kardashian and Barker are married, and they are presently expecting their first child together. Kourtney Kardashian previously had three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick.

In addition, Barker has two biological children and one stepchild from a prior relationship.

Kardashian revealed her pregnancy in a video posted on Instagram in June. In the video, she can be seen in the crowd at a Blink-182 performance holding a placard that reads, “Travis I’m pregnant.”

In a video posted on the couple’s Instagram sites later that month, the couple disclosed the gender of their unborn child. Barker played the drums just before blue confetti burst out to reveal they were having a baby boy.

Barker shared images of a common prayer space on his verified Instagram Story on Thursday night.
