Following three years of requests from customers, Oreo is bringing back a beloved cookie flavor.
The “most requested” variety of Oreo sandwich cookies, red velvet, will be available on grocery store shelves starting on September 12.
The limited-edition sweets sandwich red-colored, red velvet-flavored cookies with cream cheese creme.
Since it stopped being sold in stores in 2020, customers have been anticipating that the flavor will return. Followers swarmed the video with comments asking for the return of red velvet Oreos earlier this year when the official Oreo Instagram shared a recipe for red velvet biscuits topped with Oreos.
Oreo teased fans with posts that alluded to the flavor in the days before the reveal on Thursday. There were films with red-themed objects and a recipe for red velvet cheesecake with an Oreo crust.
After purchasing several cookie packs, proceed to the freezer section to get additional fresh produce.
In order to offer fans a very hot snack, Hot Pockets established a partnership with the First We Feast YouTube channel, which produced the well-known hot sauce sampling program Hot Ones.
On the show, where celebrities sample spicier and spicier variations of the condiment, some of the sauces used in the four new Hot Pocket flavors will be showcased. Customers can select between hot habanero pepperoni and sausage, smokey green chile cheesesteak, flaming hot pepperoni Hot Pockets, and spicy garlic chicken and bacon. A fourth flavor is only offered on Gopuff.
A new breakfast item is available under the Pebbles cereal brand. Waffles with Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles flavors are currently sold in a number of establishments, including Giant, Key Food, and others.
