Authorities said Thursday that police near Detroit found the car of one of three missing rappers who had not been seen for nearly two weeks.

Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer said a 15-year-old boy was picked up last week and charged with possessing the vehicle of missing rapper Armani Kelly.

Dwyer declined to discuss how the discovery of the car could factor into the ongoing search. But he said there were no signs of violence in Kelly’s car.

Dwyer said, “There was no blood or anything that would lead us to believe that they were either taken or murdered in that particular vehicle.”

Kelly, Montoya Givens and Dante Wicker have not been seen or heard from since their gig was canceled at a bar on Jan. 21.

A Detroit police spokeswoman declined to comment on the developments in Warren, a city about 13 miles north of Detroit.

Dwyer did not confirm whether the 15-year-old Warren resident had been arrested. He said the teen was “brought to Warren Police Headquarters” and “was taken into custody” at one point last week.

Late Thursday, Michigan State Police said “multiple victims” were found at an abandoned apartment complex in Highland Park, about 13 miles from Warren.

It is unclear how the victims died or if they were the missing men.

In an email, state police spokesman Lt. Michael Shaw said officers were investigating the death and his identity had not been confirmed.
