Aaron Rodgers‘ pregame performance last night was far more intriguing than the New York offense’s on-field performance. Another interesting thing happened after the game.
“When are you coming back?” is a question Chargers defensive back Derwin James asked Aaron Rodgers, as seen on ESPN microphones.
Rodgers said, “Please give me a few weeks.”
It has been eight weeks and one day after the injury. It’s incredible to think that he might return in a few weeks.
That’s still an incredible comeback, even if, as some speculate, Rodgers’ Achilles tendon was just partially torn.
Additionally, that fits nicely with what we indicated at the end of Monday’s PFT Live when we mentioned that someone who is knowledgeable about the dynamics thinks Rodgers will want to get back to practice “in a couple of weeks.”
Given that Rodgers has a history of setting off a fire, fleeing, and then complaining to the media when the media goes off, it stands to reason that he would have a different perspective on the matter during his interview with Pat McAfee on Tuesday.
