Brad Pitt apparently managed to mend the rifts between himself & five of his children after a turbulent seven-year divorce and custody fight with Angelina Jolie, but one is still resistant to reunification.
A source who recently talked with InTouch Weekly said that the legendary actor has spent a lot of time and energy on personal development after his divorce from Jolie. The insider claimed that “he’s turned a corner in what he is seeking and is living a whole new life,” adding that “He’s finally putting his well-being & his family first.”
Pitt spends the majority of his time with his daughters Shiloh, 17, and Vivian, 15, as well as Vivian’s identical twin Knox. The insider revealed that the three teenagers keep in touch with their father on a regular basis and that “he’s on good terms with them.” They said, “He lost a lot of valuable time with them throughout the custody battle, and he’s determined not to miss any more.”
Even while Pax, 19, and Zahara, 18, are apparently on good terms with the Fight Club actor, Maddox, his oldest son, is not keen on mending their relationship. The impact of the supposedly violent altercation is mentioned as the reason Maddox isn’t interested in getting back together with Pitt. The 22-year-old was allegedly intimately involved in the 2016 private plane battle that destroyed Pitt and Jolie’s marriage.
According to the insider, the entertainment multi-hyphenate “acknowledged his drinking was a problem and he’s sincerely sorry for his part in the split.” Despite the fact that they are currently estranged, Brad will always hope for a reconciliation because he loves Maddox very much.
We always want to see families overcome adversity to forge stronger bonds, but we entirely get why Maddox might be reluctant to let Pitt back into his life. It’s crucial to uphold personal boundaries, especially when trust has previously been broken.
