Charles Leno Jr., a left tackle for the Washington Commanders, announced on social media that his wife had suffered a miscarriage. He will not participate in Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
“Our baby girl, Paitynn Maui Leno, received her wings unexpectedly,” Jen Leno wrote in a Sunday morning post.
“She came into this world like all of her big sisters, quick & fierce, & was such a fighter,” Jen Leno tweeted. “We are grateful to everyone who has supported us during this journey with their love and prayers. Sweet girl, take it easy.
Additionally, Charles Leno posted the articles on his social media pages. The couple already had three kids, and Paitynn was due in the spring.
Leno’s status was changed by the Commanders to “out” on Sunday due to personal matters.
