Charlize Theron is okay with the fact that she might appear a little different now than she did in the past.
In a recently released interview with Allure magazine, the actress said: “My face is changing, but I love that my face is changing and aging.”
Nevertheless, she told the magazine that “people think I had a facelift.”
‘What did she do to her face?’ they ask. Theron said, “I’m like, ‘B***h, I’m just aging!'” It doesn’t imply that I had subpar cosmetic surgery. This is just how things work.
As she currently promotes Dior’s newest fragrance, L’Or de J’Adore, which is being billed as “a reinvention” of their vintage J’Adore scent, the Oscar winner will be seen even more.
Theron is appreciative of having served as the brand’s spokesperson for more than twenty years.
She told Allure, “I’m extremely grateful for it and I’m really proud of it. It has kind of taken on a special quality because, over the past 20 years, it has been woven into the fabric of my existence.
The 48-year-old said, “I’ve always had issues with the reality that men kind of age like fine wines and women like cut flowers.” However, the man also expressed some opinions regarding how the aging process is perceived differently for males.
However, I also believe that women want to age in a way that seems natural to them, Theron added. “I despise that concept and I want to fight against it,” she said. “I believe we ought to have a little more empathy for one another’s journeys. My experience of having to appear on a billboard is now extremely humorous.
