A father who fainted out after witnessing his wife have an epidural is being made fun of by TikTokers.
The amusing footage was captured by Corianne Johnson in April as she was giving birth. Cody, Corianne’s husband, is shown slumped on a delivery room floor in the now-viral video. His legs protrude from a hospital bed like the Wicked Witch in the East from “Wizard of Oz.” Additionally, Cody, 32, is seen crawling on the ground, drinking juice, and dozing off on a couch with a blanket covering him.
“I’m totally not going to pass out while you’re in labor, babe,” the text declares.
“I anticipated that he would faint. I wish I had placed a wager on it. With a smile, Corianne, 26, says TODAY.com. “He has trouble with needles. He only caught a glimpse of the needle, not even seeing it penetrate my back. He collapsed.
Corianne claims that it occurs frequently in the delivery room. The nurses, according to her, didn’t even blink. You can see a stoic hospital employee applying a cold compress to Cody’s forehead in the video.
“They responded, “Yup. Corianne recalls saying, “He’ll be alright, this happens all the time.
Cody was fortunate enough to stand up again in time to see Corianne give birth to their new daughter, Navy.
He was present when pushing occurred. She says, “He did really well with that.
Cody had no memory of fainting when he regained consciousness after being unconscious for around 10 minutes.
“My family will never be willing to let him live this down,” Corianne jokingly asserts.
And TikTok won’t either. More than 12 million people have viewed the humorous video since Corianne posted it in May, and it has received hundreds of comments, including:
The nurse approached him in a nonchalant manner as if they did this every 20 minutes.
Not him, curled up like he had a difficult day.
“The baby would have just come out,” I would have laughed so hard.
Before I even had the emergency c-section, my husband “also passed out… twice and threw up.”
The crawling has killed me.
“OMG, my brother is PALELOUS; he appeared stern. “What a guy,”
“After my c-section, my husband had to be wheeled out of the operating room.”
According to Corianne and Cody, they have been amused by all the remarks.
