Kanye West and Julia Fox‘s relationship is coming to light.

You undoubtedly recall that early in 2022, not long after his divorce from Kim Kardashian was declared final, Ye, as he is now known, and Julia had quite the whirlwind romance.

When they were first photographed together in Miami, news of their love spread quickly. Julia even wrote an essay for Interview magazine, which provided readers an inside look into their lavish “date night” less than a week after they first met.

Of course, Ye and Julia’s union was ultimately brief; after only around six weeks of dating, the two decided to call it quits in February 2022.

Julia is now looking back on her widely publicized relationship with the rapper and telling fans what truly happened behind closed doors while promoting her new biography, Down the Drain.

The Uncut Gems star visited The Drew Barrymore Show earlier this week to talk about her newly released book, which was published on October 10.

When Julia and Ye first started hanging together, she thought it would be a one-sided relationship, Julia said to start the conversation.

“Frequently, you date these superstars… They keep things pretty quiet. You know, they’re like, “Don’t post a picture of my bathroom.” Drew was told by her. “So I just assumed it would be a secret,” you say.

Julia said that she wasn’t prepared for the fanfare when their affair was “mysteriously leaked,” but she was forced to lean in nevertheless.

In another part of the chat, Julia opened up about how “overwhelming” their relationship was, drawing parallels between Ye’s neediness and that of her 2-year-old son, Valentino.

She explained the end of the romance, saying, “In the end, I think he wanted a full-time person, and I just couldn’t be full-time.” “After I had my son, Ye would call me frequently,” the speaker said.

In the height of their heated connection, Julia admitted, she even purchased a set of wireless headphones for herself so she could multitask while fielding Ye’s numerous calls.

Like, I’d have to change diapers, so I purchased a pair of AirPods to wear while I was taking care of mommy duties. She said, “Like, it was just — it was so overpowering and unsustainable.

She continued, “I think I just recognized very soon that it simply wasn’t going to be sustainable because, in the end, I cannot put anybody else first. “I have to put my son first. Like, I didn’t sign up to have two babies, you know? It just got to be too much.

An unexpected revelation by Julia earlier that there “wasn’t any” sex in her relationship with Ye shocked viewers.

In response to a question about why her sexual encounters with Ye aren’t included in the book during a profile with the New York Times last month, Julia revealed that she didn’t really have much to say about the subject.

Julia said, “Because there, like, wasn’t any,” admitting that their relationship “wasn’t really about that.”

The actor acknowledged that she “went lightly” on the book’s passages involving Ye in a later interview with the Los Angeles Times, but she emphasized that she hadn’t signed a nondisclosure agreement.

In an interview with the same publication, she reminisced on the relationship’s demise and recalled feeling that she had been treated like a “pawn” during Ye’s divorce from Kim, which had just been finalized about a month before they began dating.

She referred to her earlier accusations that she dated Ye to “distract” him from pestering Kim in the midst of their highly publicized breakup and court battle, saying, “I thought ultimately I’d be helping a precarious situation.”

But I rapidly saw that I was being weaponized, she continued. I was like his little puppet, that’s all.
