The Dolphins were chosen as HBO’s 2023 in-season “Hard Knocks” squad, which will make its premiere later this fall

In the midst of the 2023 season, one of the NFL’s most intriguing teams will receive a special platform. The Miami Dolphins have been chosen as this year’s in-season “Hard Knocks” squad and will make their MAX debut later this autumn, according to an announcement made on Monday by the NFL and HBO.

With quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the league’s top receiver in Tyreek Hill, and one of the sport’s most entertaining head coaches in Mike McDaniel, the 5-2 Dolphins are now in first place in the AFC East.

Through seven games, the Dolphins have 240 points, which leads the league. No other team has scored even 200 points. Miami features the top-ranked rushing offense (162.3 yards per game), the top-ranked passing offense (300.0 yards per game), and the top overall offense (462.3 yards per game). Week 3 saw the Miami Dolphins’ offensive prowess put on full display as McDaniel’s team cruised to a historic 70-20 victory against the Denver Broncos. The Dolphins made NFL records that week when they scored five throwing touchdowns and five running touchdowns in the same game.

Following the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals, the Miami Dolphins are the third NFL team to appear in this in-season HBO special.
