After it was reported that the “One Tree Hill” actress is dating U.S. Women’s Soccer player Ashlyn Harris, Sophia Bush‘s ex-husband opened up about her finding a new love and sounded like he’s still very much in her corner.
According to a representative for Sophia’s ex, Grant Hughes, “Grant always wants the best for Sophia, & is supportive of whatever makes her happy and fulfilled.”
According to sources close to Sophia and Ashlyn, as we previously reported, they recently became official, but the timing is a little strange given that they both recently filed for divorce from their ex-spouses.
After four years of marriage to fellow USWNT player Ali Krieger, Ashlyn filed divorce papers less than a month ago. Sophia filed for divorce from Grant in August; they had been together for just over a year.
Grant doesn’t appear to be at odds with Sophia, in fact, it appears to be the complete opposite. Very mature… and uncommon.
