A notice on the Made In America Festival website states that the two-day music festival, which had Lizzo and Sza as headliners in September, has been postponed.
In a statement published to the Made in America Festival’s social media platforms, organizers cited “severe circumstances outside of production control.” Neither of the featured performers was mentioned.
The concert would have been Lizzo’s first since a lawsuit was brought against her last week, and it was set to take place on September 2 and 3 in Philadelphia.
The artist was accused of sexual harassment and fostering a hostile work environment by three former dancers. Lizzo referred to the claims as “sensationalized stories” and claimed that the former dancers “have already openly acknowledged that they had been told their behavior on tour was improper and unprofessional.”

Made in America stated on its website that it is dedicated to providing “exceptional experiences for music fans & concertgoers, which is our commitment to continuously provide a top-tier festival experience.”
The statement from the organizers said, “This decision has been difficult & has not been made lightly or without great thought.”
Requests for comment from Lizzo and Sza’s representatives were not immediately fulfilled.
Rapper Jay-Z established the festival, which hosted its inaugural event in 2012.
Among the performers on the festival’s lineup this year were Metro Boomin, Ice Spice, Latto, Coi Leray, Doechii, Mase, and Cam’ron.
The festival’s organizers said that all ticket holders would receive refunds and that the event would return in 2024.
