In relation to the alleged violence of a man during an argument over a parking space, police in Idaho issued a misdemeanor arrest warrant for the actor who portrayed the Green Ranger in the “Power Rangers” film franchise, officials said on Wednesday.
Hector David Rivera’s truck was parked in a disabled parking space at the District 208 shopping mall in Nampa on Friday when a guy approached the truck, according to city police spokesperson Carmen Boeger.
The victim, a walker-using man in his 60s, snapped photos of a pickup truck’s license plate that was parked in the designated disabled space. A man is shown on camera pushing the victim to the pavement before standing over them and saying “harsh words,” according to Boeger.
According to police on Facebook, the man shoved the man down, left him lying on the ground, and then got into a four-door pickup with Texas license plates and drove off.
In southwest Idaho, approximately 20 miles west of Boise, sits the city of Nampa, home to over 100,000 residents.
Rivera was identified by investigators using dashcam footage of the incident and public assistance requests, according to police.
Police reported late on Wednesday that Rivera has not turned himself in and has not been located by authorities.
A request for comment from Rivera and his representatives was not immediately answered.
