Gwen Stefani wore a shiny silver dress covered in stars to her Hollywood Walk of Fame event on Thursday. She was joined by her family to celebrate obtaining her very own star on the famous roadway.
The “Hella Good” singer, 54, shone in silver sequins as she attended her big day with her sons, Apollo, 9, Kingston, 17, and Zuma, 15, whom she shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. She also joined her husband Blake Shelton, 47.
Although the glittery long-sleeved style appeared to have been altered for the singer with a higher crew neck, Stefani donned a look directly off the Christian Cowan spring/summer 2024 runway.
She tightened the waist with a sparkly silver belt and wore a sequin-covered mini with tinsel stars on the hemline and bell sleeves.
As he posed in front of her new star, Stefani dressed the glittering ensemble with complementary slouchy silver boots and fishnet tights, her blonde hair tied back in a Barbie-like curled ponytail.
She kept her jewelry minimal so that her dress could take center stage. She accessorized with only a single set of stud earrings and finished the look with her go-to red lipstick.
In terms of the guys in her life, Apollo and Zuma donned matching dark suits, while Kingston, a rising singer, sported a pinstriped ensemble with a turtleneck, and Shelton, a suit and a black dress shirt.
Shelton offered a touching statement during the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, telling the audience how the singer appealed to him because of her low-key demeanor and love for her children.
“I only met Gwen for the first time in 2014,” he recalled. She was unlike any other well-known person I had ever met. She used a black minivan with car seats to drive herself to work.
And now that I’m standing here, over ten years after I first met her, I can state categorically that being a mother is still the most significant thing in her life. And I must tell you all, that’s uncommon in this industry.
