Coming as a surprise to some, model Emily Ratajkowski is dating again, and the object of her latest affection seems to be none other than perennial man about town Pete Davidson.
And there’s a lot of talk about it on Twitter.
Dating gossip started after celeb gossip account Deux Moi shared a since-deleted Instagram story quoting the “My Body” writer and “Saturday Night Live” star out on a date in Brooklyn, NY. over her and they’re apparently hooking up,” according to Elite Daily.
Representatives for Ratajkowski and Davidson did not immediately respond Monday to The Times’ request for comment.
However, Us Weekly apparently confirmed the romance on Monday, with a source telling the site that “Pete and Emily have been talking for a few months” and adding that the pair are “very early on, but they both like each other.”
Twitter assumed much less, breaking down and publicly debating the possibility of the pairing with its signature snark (and plenty of NSFW observations we couldn’t print in the family newspaper).
“Pete Davidson really went from Kim Kardashian to Emily Ratajkowski??? Impressed is an understatement…” one user wrote.
“I’m pretty sure we’re in a simulation and Pete Davidson has admin access,” wrote another user.
“From Pete Davidson Ariana Grande going on to write her to hit songs about her destroying Kim and Kanye’s legacy to supermodel Emily Ratajkowski having the power to be funny is all the inspiration I need,” another tweeted.
“Emily Ratajkowski and Pete Davidson are the least shocking if true,” mused another.
“I find it funny when people are shocked that Pete Davidson dates beautiful women,” explained another. “Women have been telling men for decades that we want kind men who can make us laugh and Pete is, by all accounts, a lover who treats women surprisingly well. Learn from him, maybe?
Davidson, 28, most recently dated reality star Kim Kardashian after her “SNL” hosting stint last fall and most recently amid her split from rapper Kanye West. The “Meet Cute” actor and “The Kardashians” star reportedly called it quits in August after nearly nine months of dating. During that time, Davidson got a “My Girl Is a Lawyer” tattoo and faced frequent verbal attacks from Ye.
“The King of Staten Island” star was previously engaged to singer Ariana Grande and has also been linked to Kaji David, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualey, Kaia Gerber and Phoebe Dinevoor.

After enduring months of infidelity and divorce rumors, Ratajkowski announced that she filed for divorce from indie filmmaker Sebastian Beer-McClard in September after four years of marriage. (They share a son, Sylvester Apollo.)
“I feel all the emotions,” he said of the split in the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “I feel anger, sadness. I feel excited. I feel joy. I feel depressed. Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I’m feeling all those things, which is good because it gives me confidence.” I will be fine.”

The model, who worked with the comedian in a campaign shoot last year, called him ‘super charming’.
“He’s a professional,” Ratakowski said in a November 2021 appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” “First of all, you should know about Pete.”
“Pete, he has height,” she said, “apparently women find him very attractive.”
