
Today, October 25, Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney revealed that the organization had signed defenseman Jackson Edward to a three-year entry-level deal with a $860,000 NHL cost charge per year.
With the London Knights of the OHL, Edward, 19, played in 2022–2023 and finished the season with a plus–17 rating, five goals, and twenty assists for a total of 25 points. During the 2021–22 season, the 6-foot-2, 193-pound defenceman skated in 54 games with the London Knights, recording six points.
Boston originally selected the Newmarket, Ontario native in the seventh round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft (200th overall).
