The comedy Don’t Look Up from 2021 had a lot of vitality thanks to Timothée Chalamet.

Chalamet said that he spent more time quarantining by himself before filming Don’t Look Up with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence than he did on the movie’s set in a recent GQ profile story (the interview was recorded before the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike started in July).

Chalamet estimated that he was in Boston for the post-apocalyptic comedy for 24 days. He revealed to GQ that he only spent 10 days working on the Adam McKay-directed film, and that was quarantined for 14 of those days in a hotel room.

Chalamet, 27, remembered that he was buzzing by the time he arrived on site. Jennifer claimed that working with Leo and I on that particular day was the most irksome experience of her life. I ran screaming from my room.

Lawrence once jokingly referred to the day he spent filming a scene with Chalamet, DiCaprio, and a car as “the most annoying day of my life.”

“That day, they drove me mad. I’m not sure what it was, she said. Timothée, in what I believe to have been his first scene, was only happy to be outside the house. Leo chose the song, “‘ Till Then” by The Mills Brothers, which was playing in the car, saying, “You know, this song is about blah, blah, blah.

“I’m not sure. She recalled at the time, “I just remember being in complete despair that day. “But they’re very nice.”

Lawrence and DiCaprio played astronomers who tried to alert people to a potential extinction-level event but were met with resistance. At the 2022 Academy Awards, the movie got four nominations, including one for Best Picture.

Chalamet’s most recent film role was in the horror romance Bones & All from a year ago. In his upcoming roles, he will play Willy Wonka in Warner Bros.’Wonka, which hits theaters on December 15, and Paul Atreides in Dune: Part Two, which is presently set for release on April 15, 2024.
