Joe Rogan and Jamahl Hill react to Jiri Prochazka vacating the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship due to his injury and what makes him different from other fighters.

During episode #136 of The JRE MMA Show, Rogan and Hill talked about some of Prochazka’s antics inside the octagon during his fight with Glover Teixeira at UFC 275 last June.

Rogan said: “He’s an odd duck. That dude is an odd duck, he’s odd. He’s very different. Did you see when he was fighting Glover [Texeira] and Glover was knocking him out and he said, ‘Good job.’ Good work.’ I thought it was like, ‘Well you can’t do that man. It looks like you’re getting tapped. Like, what are you doing?'” [3:45 – 4:00]

The JRE host and ‘Sweet Dreams’ shared a laugh while discussing the video ‘Dennisa’ posted on her social media, where she issued a warning that she was coming to capture the title. Hill noted that Prochazka may have made a mistake in relinquishing the Light Heavyweight Championship, saying: “‘He’s a weird dude. Yeah, it’s weird cause it’s not only legacy-wise like a bad move, it was a bad business move because now in your next fight you fight as a challenger. You Doesn’t get the same pay-per-view buys, so you don’t get paid as much or none of that.” [5:44 – 6:05]

It remains to be seen how long Prochazka is expected to be out, but when he does return he will most likely earn a title shot as he never lost it.

Jamahl Hill and Joe Rogan react to Jiri Prochazka warning video

It is understandable that Jamahl Hill has a target on his back as he is now the fighter to beat in the light heavyweight division.

During episode #136 of The JRE MMA Show, ‘Sweet Dreams’ and Joe Rogan shared a laugh after watching a video posted on social media by Jiri Prochazka warning the champion that he was coming for the title shot.

They said: “Yelling in the woods… I want to know what is it about being in the woods that makes him want to yell… What is it? Are you bothered by the trees? Do you feel alone? Do you listen?” Want to? … I feel weird even saying that in the ‘I’m Coming’ video.” [7:01 – 7:50]
Hill vs. Prochazka seems like the most logical fight to book based on what happened at UFC 283, but it will depend on the timetable for the former champion’s return.
