
The National Coffee Association estimates that 1.7 cups of coffee are consumed daily nationwide by all Americans, or nearly two-thirds of the population (63%).
The same source indicated that 440 million cups of coffee are consumed every day in the United States. That would fill more than four Olympic-sized pools.
Coffee shops throughout the Valley are offering discounts on purchases on September 29 in recognition of the most caffeinated of food holidays, whether you’re one of the 81% of Americans who enjoy their coffee for breakfast or prefer to sip it during the day.

National Coffee Day is observed by Scooter’s Coffee to the end of September
Every single day in September, Scooter’s will be observing National Coffee Day. Every customer at the coffee shop will receive a free cup of coffee for the entire month. Customers are welcome to choose any small, medium, or dark roast hot coffee for free, including well-known flavors like Caramelicious, Scooter Doodle, or French Vanilla. Per the customer, the deal is only valid for one cup.
Coffee is more affordable at Black Rock Coffee Bar
Black Rock Coffee Bar is giving $3 medium coffee drinks all day long in honor of National Coffee Day. One per customer is the cap on the promotion.
During National Coffee Day, Dunkin’ is giving away free coffee
On Friday, Dunkin’ Rewards members can receive a medium hot or iced coffee free with any purchase. Additionally, on Friday beginning at 8 a.m. ET, you may purchase one of four new coffee lovers’ wristbands that Dunkin’ and the Little Words Project are collaborating on for $30 each. The bracelets, which with the slogans “Iced Coffee,” “Eat The Donut,” “Get Sip Done,” and “Cafecito Time,” are only available in a limited number.
On National Coffee Day, Krispy Kreme offers free coffee
On Friday, guests can get a medium hot or iced coffee or espresso-based drink for free at Krispy Kreme, which recently introduced new coffees with smoother mixes and richer roasts. No purchase is necessary. When you purchase any dozen doughnuts, an additional dozen original glazed donuts are available for $2, so you can treat the entire family or your coworkers.
‘Drink More Coffee’ cap by Dutch Bros, just available on National Coffee Day
At any of its more than 750 locations, show off your love for coffee with the exclusive “Drink More Coffee” hat from Dutch Bros Coffee ($20). You receive any beverage for free when you purchase a hat. To spice up your next order, the coffee vendor also provides a unique National Coffee Day quiz.
Free coffee from Pilot Flying J on National Coffee Day
Every member of the myRewards Plus loyalty program at Pilot Flying J travel centers will receive any size of hot, iced, or cold brew coffee on Friday. Just use the myRewards Plus app to redeem the offer.
