Victor Osimhen is seen firing up Napoli for the Serie A title.
Osimhen scored another two goals on Sunday to earn Napoli a 3-0 win at Spezia and move 16 points clear of second-placed Inter Milan, who later host AC Milan in the derby.
It was the fifth straight league match in which Osimhen had scored. The Nigeria forward has scored seven in that period to take his tally to 16 in the league.
Spezia defended well against Napoli’s prolific attack, but the visitors were awarded a penalty less than 10 seconds after the break when defender Arcadius Reca tried to hold down Matteo Politano but missed it. Figured that the bounce of the ball would carry him over his outstretched arm. ,
Khvicha Kvartskhelia converted the penalty, which broke open the game.
Osimhen had a goal to pull Matia Caldara back in the 62nd minute, but he headed in his first goal in the 68th and doubled his tally five minutes later after another assist from Kvartskhelia.
Spezia remained five points above the relegation zone.
