The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a teenager following a possible weapons call at Ottawa Valley High School in the Admaston-Bromley Township.
Staff at the school received a complaint of the threat on Wednesday, October 11, and they stated that a pupil had made a threat to another student in a situation that may have involved a sharp object.
The OPP reports that no weapon was found during the arrest of a 15-year-old Bonnechere Valley Township resident at the school on charges of making threats to cause murder or serious bodily injury.
The defendant is being remanded in jail until their Pembroke court date next.
