Video stills that depict three alleged suspects in the murder of “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor have been made public by the police.

In May, Wactor, 37, was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles for foiling a catalytic converter theft on his vehicle. The long-running daytime soap drama featured the actor in the role of Brando Corbin.

Three suspects were shown in one of the stills, close to a black Infiniti Q50 sedan that the police claimed was utilized to escape the murder scene. While it is difficult to see the suspects, authorities have stated that the one who shot Wactor “has a tattoo above the left eye and on the right cheek.”

The public’s assistance is being requested by the Los Angeles Police Department in identifying the three suspects.

Wactor had worked a night shift at Level 8 in downtown Los Angeles and was leaving the office early on May 25 with a colleague. They went up to the men they had spotted near his car, assuming it was being towed.

The actor’s car was “raised up with a floor jack and three people were in the process of stealing the catalytic converter,” according to a news release from the police.

Wactor “remained composed as usual, saying just that it was his automobile and that they should go,” according to his coworker Anita Joy in an Instagram post. Peaceful, hands out to his sides.”

A gun went off. Joy claimed that Wactor stood between her and the shooter. Wactor was shot “without provocation,” according to witness accounts, according to authorities.

Around 3:25 a.m., police arrived at the 1200 block of Hope Street and discovered Wactor suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital by emergency workers once they arrived on the scene, where they declared him dead.

According to what his mother had previously told NBC News, Wactor, who was from Charleston, South Carolina, had always wanted to be an actor. He turned his desire into a reality by appearing in 164 episodes of “General Hospital” after making his TV debut on Lifetime’s “West Wives.” According to the Internet Movie Database, he also had voice roles in the computer game “Call of Duty: Vanguard” and the television series “Westworld.”
