The Grammy-winning superstar, who has lived in Las Vegas on several occasions throughout the years, attended the NHL game on October 30 between the Montreal Canadiens and the Vegas Golden Knights.

With her twin boys, Nelson and Eddy, 13, and her 22-year-old son René-Charles, whom she shared with her late husband René Angélil, Dion watched the game.

Following the game, Dion shared a couple of photos of herself and her children in the Canadiens locker room, one of which had her family standing with players Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.

The photo was captioned, “My boys and I had a great time meeting with the Montreal Canadiens following their Monday night hockey game against the Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas. What a great game they played! We appreciate you guys meeting up with us after the game! That was something we will all remember. Enjoy an amazing season! With Celine xx.

Chantal Machabée, vice president of hockey communications for the Canadiens, also shared two pictures of Dion with the singer of “My Heart Will Go On.” The pictures showed a happy Dion with a cream-colored vest over a light-brown sweater.

In French, Machabée commented, “Nice visit at our game in Vegas yesterday.” “I appreciate @celinedion’s tremendous generosity. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family for the entire crew.

In another video that the Canadiens released on X, Dion and head coach Martin St. Louis mingled.

Dion, who was born and raised in Quebec, the home of the Canadiens, has remained quiet since declaring in May that she was calling off the remaining dates of her “Courage World Tour” because she suffers from stiff person syndrome. In December 2022, Dion disclosed that she suffered from the illness.

In an Instagram video, she stated, “I was recently diagnosed with the stiff person syndrome, a very rare neurological disorder that affects about one in a million people.”

“Although there is still much to learn about this uncommon ailment, we now understand that this is the source of all of my spasms. Regretfully, these spasms interfere with every part of my everyday existence; they can occasionally make it difficult for me to walk and prevent me from using my vocal cords to sing as I usually do.

Due to her health, Dion had already postponed her tour dates in Europe and North America at that point.

Dion wasn’t able to lead the Canadiens to win during the hockey game, though. They were defeated, 3-2, in a shootout by the Golden Knights, the reigning Stanley Cup winners.
