The “Errors Tour” keeps going!

Following an apparent stage malfunction during her “Eras Tour” performance at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, on June 28, Taylor Swift and her backup dancer were forced to make quick decisions.

During Swift’s performance of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” a song from her most recent album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” she seemed to become stuck on an elevated stage.

Fans have posted numerous videos of the performance on social media, in which Swift and Jan Ravnik, one of her backup dancers, are seen standing on platforms a few yards apart. Swift’s platform stays in the air, seemingly due to an unforeseen circumstance, while Ravnik’s platform gradually descends to the ground.

The singer appeared to be unsure about her next move, as evidenced by footage posted by admirers. But Ravnik doesn’t lose a beat, approaching Swift’s platform and assisting with her descent.

Swift appears to smile at the stage incident before carrying on with the event in one TikTok video that features a close-up of her facial expressions.

Commenting on Swift and Ravnik’s deft handling of the apparent problem, fans were quick to respond.

One individual commented on X, saying, “I bet they locked eyes and were like, ‘EXECUTE EMERGENCY MANEUVER A.'”

Another individual wrote, “Not all heroes wear capes.”

Ravnk was described by other fans on TikTok as “incredibly elegant, like though it belonged in the performance,” and as “a beautiful moment.”

Some Swifties also noted that this was the most recent episode of what fans lovingly dubbed the “Errors Tour,” which chronicled the misfortunes Swift had experienced from the tour’s start in March 2023.

Swift encountered a similar technical issue on stage at a performance at Cincinnati, Ohio’s Paycor Stadium in June of last year. The singer seemed to be waiting for the stage to go down as she sang “Look What You Made Me Do.”

She supposedly dashed out a back door to change into a new outfit quickly before the next part of the concert, but the stage remained stationary.

Swift has also had to cope with the regrettable risk of inadvertently ingesting pests during performances in large outdoor arenas.

During the Eras Tour, the singer has inadvertently ingested a bug a few times. The first occurred in June 2023 during a performance in Chicago, when she had to pause and explain to the audience that she was having a coughing fit.

She apologized profusely, “I swallowed a bug,” as seen in fan footage of the incident.

“Is it possible that none of you noticed that?” She made a joke.

During her most recent performance on June 23 at London’s Wembley Stadium, the identical incident occurred once more.

Swift breathed in another bug while singing “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).”

“I consumed an insect. “Can you sing?” she posed to the assembly.

Her latest tour stop in London was jam-packed with iconic events and high-profile attendees, including a backstage selfie she took with Prince William and his two kids, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte.

Hugh Grant, who came to Swift’s performance on June 23 with his wife and at least one of their kids, also had a nice conversation with her.

“Greetings, @taylorswift13. You have a fantastic show, a wonderful and welcoming crew, and a lovely, if enormous, boyfriend (#tequilashots). Many thanks from a happy 8-year-old #halfgirlhalfbracelet, my wife, and an aging London boy,” Grant posted on X.

Swift said, “As a devoted Hugh Grant fan, this tweet holds great significance to my culture.”
