After hurting his right ankle late in Sunday’s 24-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill was carried to the locker room.

After the game, he was on crutches and announced that he would get an MRI when the Titans got home.

Tannehill was initially hurt when Ravens defensive tackle Justin Madubuike sacked him early in the third quarter. Tannehill played through the injury until 4:43 in the third quarter when he had to leave the field after tossing an interception. In total, he completed 8 of his 16 passes for 74 yards and an interception.

According to what he was doing, Titans coach Mike Vrabel remarked, “I think it was difficult for him to be able to execute the stuff.” “We discussed trying some new things or how his mobility would be. We definitely don’t want to put him in danger where he can’t defend himself.

Tannehill continued, “I couldn’t throw with any force. I tried to walk it off repeatedly, but it only became worse. I reasoned that I wouldn’t be useful if I was a sitting duck behind them and couldn’t step into a throw.

Due to a right ankle injury, Tannehill missed the final three matches of the 2022 campaign.

Tannehill remarked, “It’s not an enjoyable process. “Especially when you are aware of its significance. However, we’ll wait and see how everything turns out before making a strategy.

Malik Willis, the backup quarterback, entered the game and made his first pass attempt of the year, a 9-yard completion to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. On that drive, the Titans were compelled to punt. In total, he completed 4-of-5 passes for 74 yards while being sacked four times. On three carries, he added 17 yards to his total yardage.

Next week is the Titans’ bye week.
