The family of US actor Tom Sizemore is “making an end-of-life decision” after he suffered a brain aneurysm earlier this month, his manager has said.
Tom Sizemore, 61, is best known for roles in films such as Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, and Natural Born Killers.
He also had drug problems and served jail time for domestic violence.
“The doctors informed his family today that there is no longer any hope and have recommended an end-of-life decision,” Charles Lago told US media.
He added: “The family is now deciding on end-of-life matters and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday.
“We are asking for privacy for his family during this difficult time and would like to thank everyone for the hundreds of messages of support and prayers. This has been a difficult time for him.”
Tom Sizemore rose to fame in the 1990s, and in 1998 starred alongside Tom Sizemore Hanks as Sergeant Horvath in the Oscar-winning Saving Private Ryan.
