Former President Donald Trump captions images of significant events in his political career in a new book of photos, providing an autobiographical account of his time in office and his post-presidency.

Excerpts obtained by NBC News from the book “Save America,” written by Trump, contain his memories of meetings with foreign leaders, pictures of family milestones, and appearances with celebrities like singer Kid Rock and golfer Jack Nicklaus. The release is scheduled for Tuesday.

Save America, published by Winning Team, “captures the historical journey of President Donald Trump like no other book,” publisher Sergio Gor stated in a statement. “First sales have been phenomenal, and we are currently reprinting right now.”

Trump’s sensibilities and flair are reflected in the subtitles, which are by no means dry. He makes light of his detractors, commends dubious foreign leaders, and discusses the murder attempt that occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month.

Trump threatens to “spend the rest of his life in prison” if Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg does “anything illegal” to sway the outcome of the presidential election, announcing that he is closely monitoring Zuckerberg.

A picture shows Trump with Liz Cheney, the former Wyoming congressman who supported Trump and voted to remove him from office in the Republican congressional primary of 2022. It says in the caption: “Liz Cheney would frequently visit the White House and request ‘baskets of goodies.'” In the end, I responded, “No.”

Trump jokes, “A really friendly group in The Situation Room,” in reference to a photo featuring solemn-looking political figures, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.; former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.; and former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.

Part of the caption for a photo showing Trump and Kim Jong Un seated next to each other says, “We got to know each other very well in a very confined period of time.”

In a photo with Putin, Trump expresses admiration for the Russian leader, saying, “Vladimir is a strong man, but we had an understanding and got along well.”

In a photo, Trump is seen at the White House with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Trump seems to be making fun of his connection with DeSantis, claiming that it “went astray” for a while before “[coming] back home.”

In addition to the photo of Zuckerberg and Trump at the White House, Trump claims that Zuckerberg is “plotting” to prevent him from winning reelection in 2020 and writes, “He would come to the Oval Office to see me.” Referring to the $420 million initial donation Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan Zuckerberg, made to local election offices during the previous presidential election cycle, they said, “He would be as charming as anyone could be, taking his extremely nice wife to dinners and always planning to install embarrassing Lock Boxes as part of a real PLOT AGAINST THE PRESIDENT.”

He will spend the rest of his life in prison, along with anyone who rigs the 2024 presidential election, according to Trump, who says, “We are watching him closely.” Politico broke the alert first.

A Meta representative declined to provide a statement. A request for comment from the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative was not immediately answered.

Numerous photos from the aftermath of the shooting in Pennsylvania last month, in which a would-be assassin shot at Trump and severed his ear, are included in the collection.

Trump claimed to have realized he was in danger “immediately.”

“Bullets kept flying as extremely courageous Secret Service agents jumped on top of me to keep me safe. He stated, “Even though there was blood all over the place, I felt very safe because I had God on my side.”

Under a now-iconic photo of Trump with Secret Service agents on either side, raising his fist, Trump says, “I am not supposed to be here.”

Trump has faced prolonged criticism for his complimentary remarks on the leaders of North Korea and Russia.

Kim and Trump are seen shaking hands in the picture. Trump describes their meeting as “honest, direct, and productive.” Trump visited North Korea for the first time as president of the United States in 2019.

Trump describes Putin as a “strong man” in the photo, but he also notes that “we had an understanding, and got along well.” He restates his claim that if he had been president, Putin would not have invaded Ukraine.

In another image, he is seen with Chinese President Xi Jinping, his wife, and Melania Trump. The caption for the image reads, in part, “I had a great relationship with China.”

Photographs from the CNN debate that precipitated President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign are also featured in the book.
