John Cena was a lock-in for WWE when it came to WrestleMania matches for over a decade. However, ever since her Hollywood career took off, her appearances have been less frequent. A new report has revealed Triple H’s plans for WrestleMania 39, possibly in Hollywood, for the 16-time World Champion.

WWE Veteran Feels John Cena Shouldn’t Lose Against Austin Theory At WrestleMania 39
While many believe the 16-time World Champion should end the Austin theory at the ‘passing of the torch’ moment at WrestleMania 39, Vince Russo is strongly against the idea.

The former WWE head writer said that the United States Champion is not a credible contender to defeat The Sensation Leader on the Grandest Stage.

“I’m going to say it right now, if John Cena insists on the Austin Theory, he’s a complete idiot. I’ll tell you right now, bro. With all due respect, he’s an idiot. Because he doesn’t He’s over.” Cena can pass the torch and take home the big bucks… The only problem is that none of it is believable… I’m not talking as a shot here. Maybe Austin Theory can beat John Cena in a fight, I don’t know. I’m talking about the way these two characters were built. If Austin Theory suddenly defeated John Cena, no one would believe it. He’s not at that level,” Vince Russo said.

Cena was last seen on WWE programming in 2022 on the final SmackDown. He teamed up with Kevin Owens to defeat Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns. It will be interesting to see when he returns to begin the build-up to his match against Theory.
