Cole Tucker, a professional baseball player, and Vanessa Hudgens recently welcomed their first child together.
In a social media post, the “High School Musical” singer revealed the news and seemed to criticize the paparazzi for taking pictures of her and Tucker leaving a hospital earlier this week with their infant. TMZ released the images on July 3.
Hudgens, 35, posted on Instagram on July 4th, saying, “We regret that the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media during this extremely precious occasion violated and took advantage of our family’s privacy.”
“Mom, Dad, and the baby are happy and healthy despite everything,” she continued.
When Hudgens walked the red carpet at the 96th Annual Academy Awards in March, she revealed her pregnancy by flaunting her growing baby belly.
The singer and actor cuddled her growing baby bump as she posed for a picture with her floor-length black gown on.
Later, she wore a translucent black dress to a Vanity Fair afterparty, showcasing her bump that was enhanced by a belly button ring.
Hudgens flaunted her bump once more in May when she posted a photo of herself and Los Angeles Angels player Tucker standing on a baseball field on Instagram.
She captioned it, borrowing from the 1994 baseball fantasy film “Angels in the Outfield,” saying, “You might refer to it as angels, religion, or anything else you like.”
In December 2023, Hudgens and Tucker celebrated their marriage in Tulum, Mexico, less than a year after declaring their engagement in February of the same year.
Hudgens told “Entertainment Tonight” the following year that the couple, who initially aroused dating rumors in late 2020, first connected during a Zoom meditation hosted by lifestyle podcaster Jay Shetty.
Hudgens stated to TODAY.com in April 2023 that she credits the “power of manifestation” for bringing Tucker into her life.
Hudgens clarified that she genuinely “had a list” of attributes she desired in a mate.
“Someone who is capable of celebrating me in order for them to celebrate themselves. Someone, because I do, who is inherently optimistic about life. A person who lives to work, rather than works to live. Someone silly,” she uttered.
Tucker was the one for her after their first weekend together. She recalls, “You actually hit every one of my boxes, I thought.”
