Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to South Carolina to complete the College of Charleston stop of her “Fight for Our Freedoms” college tour.
On her national tour, which began in September, Harris will make her sixth stop at this location.
The college tour is a high-octane national tour that is inspiring thousands of young people to join the continuous struggle for rights and freedoms that are vital to society.
Around a dozen locations, including state schools, community colleges, historically black universities, Hispanic-serving institutions, and institutions that offer apprenticeship programs, will be visited by Harris.
She will emphasize important topics that disproportionately affect young people in America at each stop, including reproductive freedom, gun safety, the environment, voting rights, LGBTQ+ equality, mental health, and book bans.
Harris has visited 16 college campuses so far this year.
