The youngest fighter on the UFC roster, Raul Rosas Jr. has set his sights as high as possible.

Rosas Jr. will join his brother Kevin Rosas in his professional mixed martial arts debut at Fury FC 73: Fraire vs. Walker attended. He faced Nicholas Whitehead in a lightweight bout on the main card.

Kevin’s debut loss did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of the UFC bantamweight as he took the cage microphone and announced his future intentions on MMA’s biggest stage:

“I’m just starting out, it’s nothing for me. I don’t celebrate anything until I have three belts around my waist. 135 [bantamweight division], 145 [featherweight], 155 [lightweight]. Let’s go. WOOOOOOH!”

Raul Rosas Jr. will face his second opponent in the UFC Octagon on April 8 at UFC 287. After blazing through Jay Perine in his promotional debut with a first-round submission win, ‘El Nino Problem’ will take on Christian Rodriguez.

Rosas Jr. is confident of another win as he aims to showcase his skills and make a case for title contention despite only having seven fights under his belt.

He spoke about it in his Fury FC 73 cage interview:

“I’m ready to go out there and show my skills like I always do. It doesn’t matter who I face, I’m here to show that there are standards. Tune in on April 8, I’m going to show my skills and I deserve to fight for the title I will show that I am.
