At halftime, Miami leads the Patriots 17–7 after Jalen Ramsey records his first interception as a Dolphin

In the second quarter, Miami‘s seasoned defensive back demonstrated why he is among the best in the league by tricking New England quarterback Mac Jones into throwing an interception, which helped the team take a 17-7 lead into halftime.

QB Mac Jones was searching along the left sideline for Kendrick Bourne on a first-and-10 play at the Dolphins’ 23. However, Ramsey correctly read the play and intercepted the pass before it reached Bourne. He brought it back to the New England 40 after 49 yards.

With 29 seconds remaining in the first half, Jason Sanders’ 30-yard field goal gave Miami a 10-point lead. That set up the play.

Despite going 0-of-6 on third down, the Dolphins offense amassed 191 yards and scored 17 points in the first half. Nonetheless, the team was 3-of-3 on fourth down to maintain drives.

In the first half, Tua Tagovailoa completed 18 of 26 passes for 165 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. With 22 seconds remaining in the first quarter, he found Tyreek Hill with a deep pass that resulted in a 42-yard score. At 6:10 of the second quarter, he then connected with Cedrick Wilson for a 1-yard touchdown.

In an attempt to find Hill, Tagovailoa crossed the center and intercepted Kyle Dugger, setting up those scores. Following the pick, Jones found Kendrick Bourne for a 24-yard touchdown pass that put the Patriots ahead 7-0.

In the first half, Jones completed 9 of 13 passes for 70 yards, one score, and one pick.

The kickoff for the second half will go to the Dolphins.
