Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed on a two-and-a-half-year deal to join Saudi Arabian club Al Nasser.
They agreed to terminate his contract early after Ronaldo left Manchester United this month.
It follows his explosive interview with Piers Morgan where he took aim at Erik ten Haag and the club’s hierarchy.
The 37-year-old is now free to sign for any club and reports suggest he has already found his next team.
Spanish publication Marca has reported that he has agreed on a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Saudi side, Al Nasr, for £173 million a year.
During an interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo revealed that he turned down a £306m offer to join the Saudi Arabian side earlier in the summer.
Instead, he stayed at Old Trafford, but played just 520 Premier League minutes and scored one goal.
After the exit, Ronaldo released a statement saying: “After negotiations with Manchester United, we have mutually agreed to terminate our contract,” the striker said.
“I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never change.
“It feels like the right time to look for a new challenge. I wish Man Ut all the best.”
Now Ronaldo’s attention is likely to be focused on Portugal and the World Cup.
They are already through to the last 16 and will face South Korea on Friday in their final group-stage match.
