David Beckham spoke about his life and business ventures at the esteemed Harvard University in Massachusetts.
Beckham spoke to students about his time playing soccer for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and LA Galaxy as well as his ownership of Inter Miami and his business ventures outside of soccer.
The 48-year-old was obviously humbled by the opportunity to address the kids at school as evidenced by the variety of pictures he uploaded on Wednesday from his earlier-in-the-week visit to Cambridge, Massachusetts, which is close to Boston.
Beckham posted the caption “Who would have anticipated the boy from east London talks at Harvard” on Instagram along with an emoji of him laughing while sobbing.
Thank you to Anita and all the students, it was a huge honor to spend time with Anita Elberse today at Harvard Business School.
Elberse, a Business Administration professor, also posted on Instagram to thank Beckham for his time.
Yes, you read that correctly: the illustrious David Beckham spoke in her class at Harvard Business School today, she wrote.
‘So fantastic to hear him express his insights on issues like his soccer career, his partnership with Authentic Brands Group, as well as of course Lionel Messi & Inter Miami CF,’ the caption said before adding the hashtag ‘#ProfessorBeckhamInTheHouse’.
With the release of a new career-spanning documentary about his life on Netflix, Beckham has recently been in the spotlight.
The four-part series, which follows his journey from a budding soccer player to a world celebrity as well as his marriage to Victoria & the highs and lows of their relationship, has largely garnered excellent reviews.
