Country music fans are getting set for the big occasion as tickets for Dolly Parton’s upcoming shows in Philadelphia, Mississippi are about to go on sale.

The “9 to 5” singer will perform two complete sets at the charity event at Ellis Theater, according to information posted on Facebook by the Congress of Country Music.

The Congress of Country Music and Dolly’s Imagination Library will both benefit from the event’s proceeds.

There will also be an opportunity for fans to secure a space at the outdoor Dolly Party & Dollytron viewing area if they are unable to get tickets the following week.

Here is information about tickets and the much-awaited event.

What time do the tickets go on sale?

On Tuesday, August 8 at 9 a.m. CT on the Congress of Country Music website and Facebook page, the ticket link will become active.

Tickets will also be offered in person at the Ellis Theater box office beginning on Tuesday for individuals who choose not to buy online.

However, it’s possible that when you arrive, there won’t be any tickets left. The Congress of Country Music stated on their Facebook page that the theater only has 500 seats and “we do encourage you to use the purchasing tickets link for fastest access.”

What is the price of the tickets?

The Congress of Country Music reports that tickets will cost between $350 and $3,500 with a per-person maximum of four.

Fans can gain entry to the Dolly Party & Dollytron viewing area, an outdoor event space with food and beverage vendors, for $35.

Rain or shine, there will be outside watching. BRING YOUR CHAIR, PLEASE! We do suggest that you refrain from creating a huge pallet or blanketed area. We want everyone to be able to sit down,” the group suggested.

When do the performances take place?

On Saturday, August 26, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., the country music legend will play two full shows at the Ellis Theater without an opening act.

At the time of ticket purchase, fans will select which performance to see.

A meet and greet is not yet scheduled.
