Emma Roberts phoned Angelica Ross and apologized to her for an alleged incident that took place on the set of “American Horror Story: 1984,” Angelica Ross said on Twitter/X. Ross admitted during a prior Instagram Live that Roberts’ misgendering by “Emma” (who at the time only used Roberts’ first name and her initials) happened purposefully while they were filming a take.

Thank you @RobertsEmma for calling & apologizing, acknowledging that your actions were not those of an ally, Ross stated in a message to his followers. I’ll leave the phone line open so that you can be contacted about your commitment to improving yourself and using your platform to help social justice concerns.

Ross claimed that Roberts was making jokes in the initial Instagram Live video when she remarked, “Angelica is being mean,” to a man on the set named John, who was probably “AHS” director John J. Gray. Ross, a transgender person, claimed that John then told the two women, “OK, ladies, you know, that’s enough. Let’s resume our job immediately. At that point, Roberts allegedly turned to face Ross and asked, “Don’t you mean lady?” making the implication that there was only one lady among the two of them.

What the f— did you just say, like? Ross recalled his thoughts. “She left, and while I stand there, my blood was boiling. My blood is boiling because I feel like if I say something, I’ll be the one who causes the issue. And the reason I know this is because someone complained about what she was doing and it had consequences. Not her; it was them.

“I immediately said, ‘I’m done,’ when I saw that occurring. I’m through. After that, I didn’t talk to that b—- at all, Ross continued. She claimed to be able to sense the energy I was giving off. Are you OK? she asked. You haven’t spoken recently. I think, “Mmhmm,” Don’t play me, b—-. Everyone on the set has been waiting for you to grab me since you’ve been playing mind games with them.

While Ross only alluded to “Emma” in this particular scenario, she claimed in a different video that “Ms. E.R.” angered the whole ensemble of “American Horror Story: 1984.” Ross made additional tweets regarding “Emma” as a result of the fact that many of his social media followers saw this as proof that Roberts was the subject of his remarks.

Let me be very clear about this,” Ross wrote. “I appreciate the help, but I ask that you refrain from making jokes about harming Emma. Make a joke about holding her accountable.

She said that “Emma” was also transphobic to her in another post by making fun of her voice. I’m imitating Cody’s accent as we’re all sitting around, Ross wrote. “I had no idea he had one. Emma then mimics my voice, drops it many octaves, and laughs. I was stunned. She used my own words to read me for blood, so of course I felt self-conscious using my voice on camera after that.

Cody probably alludes to Cody Fern, who acted with the two actors in “American Horror Story: 1984.” All of this conversation happened on the day of the debut of “American Horror Story: Delicate,” in which Roberts makes her first return to the franchise since the “1984” season in 2019 and co-stars with Kim Kardashian.
