Logic is renowned for creating controversy with his different online pranks, and his most recent Instagram selfie, which featured him looking a touch heavier than usual, achieved exactly that.
The Maryland rapper uploaded a photo of himself on Tuesday, August 29, with a substantially bigger frame and the remark, “They say they want the Old Logic.”
While it appears he applied a weight gain or aging filter, the image had many followers give a double take and prompted a barrage of scathing insults in the comments.
Bobby from the late 1990s animated series King of the Hill was likened to Logic by one commenter, while another said: “Went from logic to lethargic.”
Another person commented, “Bro looks like Brendan Fraser,” followed by the cruel but clever joke, “Went from No Pressure to high blood pressure [fire emoji].”
Logic’s silly personality first gained attention earlier this month when a video from a recent performance on his College Park Tour with Juicy J surfaced online. In the clip, Logic surprises fans by pulling off his shirt and giving his best Ice Spice impression.
The viral video featured Logic singing his song “DadBod” while sexily making his way to the front of the stage and busting out some hip-thrusting dancing moves.
He then turned around, flexed his buttocks while bending over, and put his palm on his privates in the manner of Ice Spice. Before sniffing it, he also inserted his finger into his belly button and moved it around.
One of the rapper’s band members smiled amusedly onstage, and numerous fans could be observed cheering in the background, suggesting that the audience wasn’t put off by the rapper’s antics.
Prior to that, the 33-year-old was the target of jokes from his pals in May because of his peculiar post-show cooling-off technique, which entailed him standing half-naked near an open freezer.
Logic posted the video to Instagram with the comment, “Homies won’t let me live after a hot ass show,” in which his crew mates could be heard making jokes about him in the background.
Despite his antics, Logic continues to work hard in the studio and is getting ready to drop the new mixtape Inglorious Basterds.
Although a release date hasn’t been set, he just gave fans a sneak preview of the album’s first song, “Still Pushin,” which is a cover of Lupe Fiasco’s 2006 hit “Kick, Push.”
