
The 2022 FIFA World Cup is finally here and as per tradition, it will take place on Sunday, November 20 with host nation Qatar in the standalone opening match. Ecuador, in its fourth Men’s World Cup tournament, is looking to play spoilers.
The first match of the tournament between Qatar and Ecuador will follow the pomp and circumstance of the opening ceremony, which will officially kick off the first-ever football festival in the Middle East in an unprecedented November-December window.
After the opening day, the games will come thick and heavy, with three games on the second day, and then four games per day for the remainder of the group stage. Buckle up.

Hosts Qatar kick off a 64-match slate that will have fans around the world glued to their screens.
They will host Ecuador, who finished an impressive fourth in South American qualifying and won a direct ticket to the World Cup from a traditionally competitive region.

The 2022 World Cup Matches tomorrow
On the second day of the World Cup, there will be a competition between the four teams of Group ‘B’ along with the other two teams in Group ‘A’.
It will be the first triple-header of the 2022 tournament, with eight consecutive hours of football. The pressure will be on European powers the Netherlands and England on Monday. They may be favorites in their respective games, but Senegal (African champions) and Iran (top-ranked Asian team) promise tough opposition.
