In a Florida waterway, a 13-foot alligator was discovered with human remains in its mouth

In a canal in unincorporated Largo, Florida, a 13-foot alligator with human remains in its mouth was seen.

The alligator and a body were reportedly seen by Jamarcus Bullard on Friday afternoon on 134th Avenue North.

He told NBC station WFLA of Tampa, “I tossed a rock at the gator just to see if it was actually a gator, and it seemed like it pulled the body like it was grasping onto the lower portion of the torso, and pushed it under the water.

Bullard claimed that after being stunned, he began to record on his phone and called the police. He sent the television station with a video of a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission inspector measuring the enormous beast.

The male 13-foot, 8.5-inch alligator was taken out of the water and “humanely killed,” according to a news release from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, the remains of an adult were found.

The victim’s identity has not been made public by the authorities, and they are still looking into the matter. To ascertain the cause and manner of death, an autopsy will be performed by the medical examiner’s office.

Some of the neighbors are nervous after the finding.

According to Jennifer Dean, who spoke to WFLA, her kids routinely go by the canal.

So, she said, “It’s really scary.”

Bullard claimed that he will be more cautious going forward since he now commutes via the waterway.
