Police say the escaped Pennsylvania killer has changed his appearance

Danelo Cavalcante, an escaped prisoner, has been observed once more and has altered his appearance, according to police, who are working to track down the Pennsylvania fugitive.

Late Saturday night, “in the northern Chester County area near Phoenixville,” a sighting was recorded, according to a statement from the Pennsylvania State Police.

They also noted that he had changed his look after being seen twice on Friday in the Chester County search area and that he was operating a stolen van with a refrigerator mounted on top.

He has a clean-shaven appearance and was last seen sporting a black baseball cap, green prison uniform slacks, and either a yellow or green hooded sweatshirt. According to authorities, he is driving an unknown car that might be white in color.

According to a tweet from police on Sunday morning, Calcavante is reportedly no longer in the Phoenixville region. Law enforcement is unsure of the suspect’s current location.

Along with the announcement, the U.S. Marshal Service unveiled brand-new pictures that appeared to have been taken with a Ring camera.

Police said that Cavalcante was operating a white 2020 Ford Transit van a few hours later.

On top of the van is a refrigeration unit. Baily’s Dairy has reported the car as stolen, they added.

The U.S. Marshals Service released images of the vehicle and requested assistance from the public in locating it. According to a tweet from the agency, the van’s left rear fender has been damaged.

Cavalcante was found guilty of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend and was given a life sentence without the possibility of parole last month.

On August 31, he managed to escape from the Chester County Prison in Pocopson Township. Surveillance footage of the breakout shows that he stretched across the walls of the exercise yard before ascending to the roof.

A Chester County official stated on Friday that a prison guard who was on duty when Cavalcante fled was fired for breaking prison rules by using a smartphone while in the tower.

For information that results in the arrest of 34-year-old Cavalcante, there is a reward of up to $20,000. Later on Sunday, police are anticipated to conduct a press conference.
