Rapper 6ix9ine from Brooklyn was detained after allegedly “beating up two producers in a fight over his girlfriend”

The police hauling away troublesome rapper 6ix9ine in handcuffs on Friday night in the Dominican Republic was seen on camera.

Daniel Hernandez, the singer’s real name, was wanted on the island in connection with the assault of two music producers. According to Diario Libre, the rapper’s girlfriend, the Dominican singer Yailin La Mas Viral, was the target of the alleged attack.

In a prior racketeering case, Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is recognized for his rainbow-colored hair and the number ’69’ tattoo on his forehead, was facing decades in jail after being accused of utilizing a violent gang as his “personal hit squad.”

Instead, as a result of his evidence against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, his sentence was reduced to roughly two years, giving him the moniker “snitch.”

A mob cheers and records the scene on their smartphones as Hernandez, 27, is carried down some steps outside of a hotel.

Felix Portes, a criminal defense attorney located in the Dominican Republic, confirmed Hernandez’s detention. Portes said in a series of Instagram postings that Hernandez had been trying to escape the nation in a private plane but had been placed on a “migration alert,” allowing him to do so since an arrest warrant had been issued.

Although the actual assault was not caught on camera, a film of a group of guys going to enter a building appears to depict the events leading up to the attack. A few minutes after they arrived, the men hastily left.

According to the Diario Libre article, Yailin and another person were attacked by five men while they were in the middle of recording a song with producer Diamond La Mafia.

Yailin departed the studio at that point, according to La Mafia, who also told the publication. When the men came, they inquired about her whereabouts. When they couldn’t find her inside the studio after he allowed them in, they started to attack.

According to Diario Libre, the second man, who was struck with a gun’s butt, had surgery to straighten his jaw.

Diamond La Mafia alleged that Hernandez was ‘jealous’ of Yailin because of their relationship.

Hernandez was detained in Samana, according to Portes, and will be moved to La Vega to face the assault allegations.

The GUMMA hitmaker was detained in August on Florida traffic-related failure to appear charges. Hernandez was assaulted inside a Florida LA Fitness facility only four months previously.

The rapper had serious wounds, including gashes, bruises, and swelling on his jaw, ribs, and back, and was sent to the hospital for treatment.

The males who claimed to have brutally attacked him boasted about the assault on social media shortly after it happened.

They described him as a “rat” who wouldn’t be accepted in their “hood” in internet videos.

One could be heard saying to another, “Take a picture, take a picture – I am going to be famous now,” as they kicked and punched him.

The specific cause of the Florida attack is not yet revealed, but Hernandez has never been without adversaries.

After he was called a snitch for cooperating with prosecutors in exchange for a reduction in his own prison sentence, his popularity declined in 2018.

After being accused of various crimes, including racketeering, gun possession, armed robbery, and attempted murder, he was given a staggering minimum sentence of 47 years in jail and potentially risked life in prison.

Among those accusations was that he had a direct hand in a drive-by shooting. A witness who was uninvolved in the incident was hurt.

He ended up doing barely two years in prison, which he did in a private cell for his own security after prosecutors cut him a bargain that angered the whole rap scene.

He was released earlier than expected in April 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Fefe, a multi-platinum smash song by Tekashi 6ix9ine featuring Nicki Minaj that reached No. 3 on the pop charts, and Stoopid, a song with Bobby Shmurda who is currently in jail, were both released in 2018.
