The news carried a story about Savannah Chrisley’s boyfriend, Robert Shiver.
When the reality star guested on “The Viall Files,” a podcast hosted by former “Bachelor” Nick Viall, she made some indications about the new man in her life and how they met.
When asked about her love life, the 26-year-old said it was “difficult” because she was caring for her niece Chloe and nephew Grayson while her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, were in jail.
“Therefore, if you date me, you date us all. But that doesn’t mean that nobody exists, she said.
When asked if she was dating anyone right now, Savannah Chrisley responded, “Maybe.”
She went on to say specifically that, in contrast to some of her prior ex-boyfriends, they “don’t play a sport.” She was engaged to ice hockey star Nic Kerdiles and dated NBA shooter Luke Kennard.
If her mystery boyfriend is well-known, Viall enquired.
No, sort of, but not for the positive reasons, she answered, pointing out that there had been some rumors about this man and his marriage.
Kevin Costner, who is now going through a divorce, was playfully enquired about, and she responded, “Dude, I wish!”
“This man I’m speaking to just had his wife attempt to murder him. It’s okay,” she remarked carelessly.
Viall speculated that the guy in issue was Robert Shiver, whose wife Lindsay Shiver was accused of plotting unsuccessfully to kill her husband on the Abaco Islands along with two natives of the Bahamas in April 2023 after they filed for divorce.
The Thomasville Times-Enterprise printed the police report, which stated, in part: “On July 16, 2023 at Abaco, (the defendants) when being together did, with an objective in common agree to commit an offense, specifically the murder of Richard Shiver.”
No formal plea from Lindsay Shiver was necessary.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” initially tried to be sneaky by saying, “I’m dating. I have choices. But she appeared to blow her cover when she corrected Viall after he said Shiver’s last name incorrectly, so establishing that Shiver was actually a part of her life.
Savannah Chrisley responded that she accidentally entered Shiver’s Instagram DMs after reading about his experience when asked how they first connected.
“Dude, he was too hot to die,” she exclaimed.
If the reality star was concerned that Shiver’s wife might try to hurt her, Viall and his co-host wondered. She was unfazed.
She said, “Dude, the government has been after me.”
Shiver and Chrisley, according to Chrisley, haven’t established a relationship and are just “getting to know each other.”
The reality star described the individual as “a really sweet human being” and noted that the connection is “very, very new.”
Savannah Chrisley stated that she is cautious to speak about the ongoing court matter because “kids are involved.”
You understand that your children come first, and then everything else, she continued.
The reality star did, however, reveal a few more specifics about their developing relationship.
“We deceived TMZ. When I saw the TMZ guy as we down the escalator, I said, “Go straight, I’ll go right.” They caught us in the damn airport.
The following statement was given by Savannah Brown when asked to pick her favorite Shiver trait.
“I think just the connection, and his heart, and his ability to like to listen, understand, and communicate,” she added.
Viall brought up the instance that made Shiver well-known.
Has he irritated you to the point where you wanted to murder him?
“I had to keep an eye on myself. I was sending a text the other day,” she recalled. “I said, ‘I’m going to murder you. I couldn’t say that since it was too soon when he said, “Too soon.”
