
For her fans, Dolly Parton is back with a brand-new endeavor.
“What Would Dolly Do? Radio,” a four-part series running on Apple Music’s international live-streaming radio station Apple Music 1, was introduced by the country music legend.
In the upcoming series, the singer-songwriter will share her experiences, wit, and wisdom with listeners. TODAY gets an exclusive first peek at the project before its debut. This comes before the publication of her debut rock album, “Rockstar,” on November 17 and her debut book, “Behind the Seams,” on October 17. Kelleigh Bannen, the co-host, is along for the ride.
What would Dolly do if someone advised her to soften her mannerisms? Parton, 77, is asked by Bannen in the video.
She responds with a grin, “I’d reply, “Go to hell, I ain’t doing that.” “I work to live a genuine to myself. You must have faith in both your own abilities and your own abilities.
‘What Would Dolly Do? Radio’: What will it be about?
The “9 to 5” singer will discuss her appearance, legacy, and journey from country star to pioneer to national treasure in the first episode. The two women will then discuss business from the stage to the screen in the second episode.
Parton delves into her charitable work and the value of giving back in episode three. The multi-Grammy winner will talk about starting her rock and roll era with Rockstar in the last episode.
In the video, Parton expresses her desire above all else to be an inspiration. That I might serve as an example, that I might leave something behind that might make a difference, and simply say, “Well, if she could do it, I couldn’t.”

Beginning on October 25, “What Would Dolly Do? Radio” will be broadcast every Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT, 7 p.m. CT, and 8 p.m. ET on Apple Music 1.
